A GPS stands for global positioning system and is a satellite navigation system that uses a radio receiver to collect signals from orbiting satellites to determine the position, speed, and time of the connected drone. The accuracy of a GPS is within a few meters.
On our drones, planes, and wings, a smaller version of a GPS attached to the flight controller, and through programming, on the flight controller, the GPS can send its data either to the radio or as a heads up display in your FPV feed.
Additional features as position hold, waypoints, return to home, and others are possibilities with a calibrated GPS.
