Radio

A radio transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) should be one of the very first items to buy when getting into FPV. The radio transmitter (TX) controller goes in your hands. The receiver (RX) receiver goes into your drone. Moving the sticks on the controller, and those commands are transmitted wirelessly to the quad via the receiver. The radio transmitter and receiver is what the pilots use to control the aircraft remotely.

Mr. Steele explains his crossfire Rx antenna set up all the time. He custom fabricates my own immortal "L" out of 3 zip-ties and some head shrink, using the stockwhip style antennas that come with the micro and nano XF Rx's. Be sure to check out his Youtube channel for more videos and subscribe.

TBS Crossfire Nano RX

TBS Crossfire Nano RX

TBS is stepping up the Long Range / UHF game, with no competition in sight! With the TBS Crossfire Nano RX we condense 2 years of engineering experience, listening to our customer requirements, and pushing ourselves to the maximum (or in this case, the minimum!). The end result is a full range receiver, at the smallest size of any receiver in the industry (yes, it's smaller than the XM+).
